The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us. The location was perfect, situated away from the busy streets. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options.

The day we arrived was their first day they were opened and there were a couple of minor items that were not quite ready. The service of the staff more than made up for any minor inconvenices.

What I didn't like was Booked.net taking 100 dollars out of my account without my permission and the hotel had to give it back to me in cash. Not appropriate Booked.net!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in the heart of Hanoi's bustling Old Quarter, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect for a first-time visit, surrounded by vibrant streets filled with shops, restaurants, and the must-see sights of the city. Despite being tucked away in a dark alley, this hotel was an oasis of comfort and convenience.

The Golden Sun Palace Hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the Old City. It is close to the centre of Hanoi and the night market, making it easy for backpackers to explore the local market and attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a big comfortable bed and a nice design in the shower room. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, offering tips on places to visit and arranging transportation. The breakfast is delicious and there is an option to have the room cleaned daily.

The traffic noise can be quite loud in the morning, making it difficult to sleep in.

The attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the basic amenities provided. Although my room didn't have a window, it wasn't a problem at all as the bed was really comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast served here was excellent, offering a variety of western and Asian options, and it was included in the price. this hotel offers great value for money and I would highly recommend it.
